Upon receipt of the enrollment fee for the student, AIA prepares its financial projections, (including contracting with teachers and ordering supplies), determines class availability, and further invests accordingly relying on the tuition and enrollment fee for the upcoming school year. If at any time after the enrollment fee has been paid for the student and the student's enrollment is withdrawn prior to commencement of the school year, an administrative fee of $2000 per child will be immediately owed by the family to process the withdrawal. The obligation to pay all deposits, annual tuition, and fees is unconditional upon execution of this enrollment contract. No portion of these fees will be refunded due to absence from school. No financial credit is given because a student misses class as the result of illness, family vacation, school holidays or travel. However, should circumstances require you to terminate your contract/withdraw your student, you are required to notify AIA in writing 30 days prior to student's last day of school. Pro-rated tuition will be based upon this 30-day notice withdrawal date. A withdrawal penalty of 20% of the remaining annual tuition will be due immediately. In the case of pre-paid tuition, a prorated tuition refund will be made based on the 30-day notice withdrawal date minus any discounts given and the withdrawal penalty of 20%. If AIA determines that a student is not a good fit for our program and the student is asked to leave the school, financial obligations of the family would terminate immediately. Enrollment fees are non-refundable. Student records will not be released until all financial obligations are met.The parties agree that if a dispute arises regarding any provisions or policies in this agreement, then the parties shall first seek to resolve it through mediation. If AIA herein commences an action to enforce the terms of this agreement, then AIA shall be entitled to an award of costs and attorney fees.
